Comp/Interview and T-shirt on sale

Recently, I did an interview with Wounds of the Earth, about what I’ve been up to, things that inspire me, and my track on the Wounds of the Earth compilation “Wounds of the Earth III”

New TMitM stream and compilation update

Well, today I went and upgraded my Soundcloud account. So, with the extra space, I went and uploaded all of “The Muse in the Machine” for all of you to listen to at your leisure. Hope you enjoy it!

Also, if you haven’t heard it yet, check out the new album from Millipede entitled “Powerless” out now on Hymen Records. A fantastic piece of work and it features the track “Darkest Night” which was contributed to by myself and Access to Arasaka.

The Muse in the Machine Anniversary Giveaway

One month from today will mark the one-year anniversary of the release of my debut album “The Muse in the Machine”. So, I figured that I would try and think of a way to celebrate.

For everyone that has the album, I hope you’ve enjoyed it, and continue to for a long time to come. All of your kind words and support have been awesome, and I can’t thank you enough.

For anyone that doesn’t have it yet, I’ll be giving you the chance to get it for free! See the picture up there? All you have to do is send me a photo of yourself holding a written response, it can be “Hi.” “Hello.” “What’s up?” or anything you want. Just send that photo to candlesayshi@live.com with a mailing address, and on February 23rd, I’ll draw three of the entries at random, and mail those three a copy of the CD of The Muse in the Machine. Simple as that. Best of luck to everyone that wants to give it a shot. If you have any questions or anything about it, you can e-mail those to me, too.

Approach Lights 2010

Though this is probably old news for the lot of you, Tympanik Audio has released a sampler of the releases from the 2010 catalog as a free download. So, check it out over here:

It features my track Icarus Descending from the album The Muse in the Machine, as well as a lot of other great pieces from Autoclav1.1, Access To Arasaka, Displacer, Totakeke, and many others. Anyway, yeah, check it out. You won’t be disappointed.

A Dead Signal available for download

If you’ve been following me on Facebook, then you know that I’ve made an old track of mine entitled “A Dead Signal” available for download. I’ve also put the track under a Creative Commons Attribution license, just like the remix kits available for download. So, more about that license here: http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/us/

Anyway, the track was really just me trying things out, but I suppose it could be considered an outtake from The Muse in the Machine. As a lot of the concepts that the album embraced can be heard in the track. Such as, the static melodies/percussion, System Shock 2 samples, and the clicks & pops. So, just a quick look into what I was trying to get at and into at the time.

So..... You can head over to the Audio section of the site to listen to the track or download an mp3 version, or head to the track’s Soundcloud page to listen or download the track in a lossless wav file.
